Description

the red truck in the thumb is the same one on the other side of the bridge.of course the river is Red River dividing Oklahoma from Texas. the bridge was built in 1938 and not many left of this style. the river is very full. usually about 1/4 this size.depends on the dam of Texoma lake being open or closed. the left is looking west and the other to the east. I am on Texas side looking into Oklahoma I ran out on the bridge to take the shots of the river then got off very quickly.as you can see there is no place for people walking thanks for viewing and any comments.I am feeling better to night

Nice shot, Richard. Nice to see it full, I've seen it so much lower than this.

Very cool series of pics Richard, I like your idea of showing East and West views featuring the Red River and the focal point being the bridge. Your right they don't have a lot like this one left anymore, great series of photos.

I guess not many pedestrians around here then Richard, or is there another way across for them? I know a few families that don't have a car to their name. Excellent collage, I can see something in the river in the first pic, you say that it is running prety full here, could it be a tree that has started to grow there when the water was low? Nice looking bridge a pity you couldn't get a side view on it Richard, that would have been interesting. I have this thing about bridges I don't know why. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

wow thought you was in Pineville Louisiana here. They have a bridge that cross the red river there that looks like this. super cool shot and pov. I not sure if there a walk way too on that bridge. guess the same style and maybe the same person build them both. I not sure.
