Description
Our local county courthouse, built in 1895, from pink granite that was cut, numbered and shipped to our county from the "hill country" of south central Texas. Cloned out a car and any identifying name features. This is where I go when I'm called for jury duty.

The architecture is magnificent and your info about the pink granite is really interesting. The work it took to create this courthouse was certainly well worth it. This is a great photo.

Exquisite POV of this grand old courthouse on display here, Maria! Love the colors, clarity, the play of light and shadow, the textures, and how the steeple projects up exactly from the center of the storied edifice. In fact, the steeple and clock reminds me of London's Big Ben.

this is more ornate than Denton courthouse. I just told someone this evening that the judges must want a palace to work at the tax payers expense after watching a movie. beautiful capture
