Description

This year we watched the fireworks show at a little town on the Oregon coast named Manzanita. The fireworks were shot off from the beach, and we had parked ourselves at a turnout on Neahkahnie Mountain, for those who know the coast. We were a bit far away, about a mile and a half, but that's what 400mm lenses are for LOL. We were actually above most of the blossoms, which was an interesting perspective. I'm posting this one because I liked the squigglies, and I wanted one that lit up the ocean, too. Thanks for stopping by and any comments. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I like the squigglies too. This is a great fireworks shot and the being able to see the ocean is really an added bonus. I watched the fireworks on TV which isn't nearly as nice as seeing them in person.

Dennis, I'm so glad you posted this because its one of those contrasts I enjoy...the burst of excitement paired with the soothing caress of the water. Love it.
