Description

Thanks for all your kind comments on my previous upload. There are one or two more to come from the pier that morning but for today I'll break it up by showing an image of the town at night. I always love the way the cobbles look at night after it has been raining but in truth I didn't really plan this shot so had to make the best I could of the available light, meaning shooting with a very short dof and high ISO (apologies for slight graininess)... I decided to focus on the sign, which is really the only shop down this little side street, and is a quaint little place inside almost from another decade/century. You may perhaps recognise it as being similar to one of my earlier gallery images, Rainy Night on College Street, and the two spots aren't actually far apart at all though the alley featured today is more residential and quieter during the day. Hope you like it, I haven't done much night-time photography of the town so it may be that's where I'll start to focus next ;) Adam

Nice shot! Anyway your work is amazing, it's hard to choose which I like the most. This one really attracted me because of the atmosphere. It reminds me of the dark, foggy and scaring alleys of a Jack The Ripper movie. So evocative, excellent! 5 ;) Btw, thanks for appreciating my artwork, I'm flattered :)
