The Eel River, again, looking south. I took this a couple of months ago, today you can almost walk across it without getting completely wet!!

Almost unbelievable to imagine that the river can be crossed on foot. Is this a normal fluctuation or a drought?

I see where it derives it name from as it seems to create a sinuous (jeez, I hope I spelled that correctly) line thru the terrain.
