Hey. I am Nik from Germany. I´m working with Cinema 4D since 2007. Now i would like to show you my first result.
The image shows a scene in the "Ruhrgebiet", an area in Germany which is famous for it´s industrial culture. I always had been inspired by the place where i was born.
The target was NOT to reproduce reality. I think there are many people here on renderosity who do a better job making photo-realistic stills.
I just wanted to create a special "look &feel"
Postwork was done in Photoshop.

I've been meaning to reply to this image for long time. Fantastic work. The lighting and mood this scene evokes is superb. The composition really leads you down that dark abandoned tunnel well. It reminds me of some of the abandoned subway lines in NYC on the lexington line where I work. You can just about make out the old station stop in it's decayed state as the express train flies through and the third rail sparks iluminate the old closed down station line along side it.
