Description

I was outside yesterday morning, walked by my roses and thought, hmmmmm, "I need my camera". I shot this directly into the sun, only the rose itself saved my camera and me from bad things, a very noble act on its part, don't you think? At any rate, I love the way it looks, the almost burned edges~~guess shouldn't be too surprising, given that the sun is doing its sunny thing!!

Charred to a crisp! Nice backlighting, clarity and color blends in this macro, Marilyn, but you have to be careful taking shots into the sun. Take only fast shutter pics lest it damage the CCD in your camera.
