Description

Modeled and rendered in Mechanisto. Background captured from an astronomy program. Free textures from several places, I can list them if you want to know. A little bit of post work in Photoshop. A small starfighter, possibly launched from the bay of a large capital ship, engaging an unknown enemy. It is capable of atmospheric flight, albeit with the relative grace of a seal on land. The wings are much more useful as mounts for the four laser cannons, and the secondary wings, besides providing structural support, shield the missiles from enemy fire and hold small thrusters for evasive maneuvering. Comments, criticisms, and suggestions are welcome, thanks for taking a look.

Thank you! :) I've tweaked this picture several times, as I keep learning more about what I can do.

I think your starting to border on the intermediate, this looks very good, especially if your just beginning!

This program is the first experience I've had in 3d graphics. You can see from my painting I'm not much more than a beginner there either. :) Thanks for the comments and encouragement!
