Description

Hey guys. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer... This is an image I played with today, whilst learning how to create a B/W conversion 'action' in PS. Obviously, I got a bit carried away...adding shadows and stuff...but it was sooooooo much fun! So I thought, what the hey, I'll share it with you guys. ;^) Have a wonderful weekend y'all! -Marlene :^) PS Best viewed full-size...if you like it, that is, lol. ;^)

So very dramatic and striking. LOL@Gun with the lips comment. So true! Your image and work on it is fabulous. My only complaint is you don't drop in often enough! Hope you're having a great summer Marlene.

Hey??? hopefully this has been a brief interlude, and maybe you'll be coming back for the second act? I hope so!! Very cool imagery here, I love the play with light across the face, looks like it's from an old movie poster. You're so damn creative I'd love to see & hear what you've been up to lately? I hope you're enjoying the summer? So nice to see you for this intermezzo... hugs...

Greetings my dear, It is good to see you are still around and doing what you love best. The film noir image with the shadow play is wonderful and yet there is a 'but'—it is in the eyes. The good news is that there is white on both sides of each eye and yet (for me at least) I would wish for a little more highlight in the eyes in order to render a little more separation and detail. On the other hand the shadow, especially on the far wall is perfect as is her expression as it makes the image. Thank you for sharing. egmont

She looks great, and the cool shadows cast by the windowframe (I am assuming) really add some depth and interesting play of light. Not sure how I missed this one- should have gotten an ebot.
