Description

Yesterday morning, the sun was shining in thru my bedroom window and created this most wonderful light and shadow. This was my mom's desk, she got it when she was bout 12 or 13, and I grew up with it. You can't see it here, but there's a spot where I put a piece of scotch tape on the front for some strange reason. It's left a mark, and I love that memory. It's my most favorite piece of her life that I have and I love it.

I like this shot marilyn, very different from the usual scenic outdoor views. A lot of character and sentiment to this old writing desk. nice work. Your title reminded me of when we used to type a letter on the computer and the annoying "cartoon paperclip" would appear on screen saying "It looks like you are typing a letter" lol. does anyone remember that?

Even though this is not your usual subject your thumb still leaps off the page going 'BEACHZZ'! Excellent!

A poignant tableau of history, so vividly portrayed in this capture and narrative, Marilyn. Scratches of some sort are evident on the side of the rich wood desk, but I guess you know that.

Almost I can feel your feelings because I know that light and mood! And will be a great, great idea to write letters to ourselves more often!
