Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

What an interesting wind chime. Some interesting pieces on it!! Great POV!!!

Another something in common. LOL I have so many hanging things - mostly ones that make noise - that I can't move around much without banging my head on something. I love it when we have a moderate breeze and they all play music for me. Great shot.

You have a very nice collection there Marilyn, we used to come back with buckets full of shells everytime we took our daughter to the sea-side. Then she started on pebbles, even now at 21 years of age she still brings back a pebble from her trips. We have them round the rockery in the back yard, some of them I have even polished in my collection. A bit heavy for a wind charm though, if they cracked you round the head you'd know about it. Lol. I must say some of these shells are very colourful, I guess it took you some time to drill and thread them. However long it took it was worth it, you created a thing of beauty. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!

colorful shells! Bet they make a nice clatter when the breeze hits them!
busi2ness
very colorful and I am sure they make their presence known in the breeze.

A myriad of lovely sea shells of various shapes and sizes to adorn your habitat, Marilyn! Nice contrast against the black background. A few of them displayed look like the big gold emblem at the local Shell gas stations.

Great artwork you have 'just hanging around.' I used to have a glass wind chime....well, enuf said....shouldn't have had it hanging outside, I suppose! LOL
