Description
A spider which I found in my own garden, hiding amongst the roses. It is a pretty common spider throughout northern Europe, but because of its color it isn't very often you actually find one. The species doesn't have any common name (which is pretty normal for spiders...) but its latin name is Araniella opisthographa (possibly Araniella cucurbitana - they are more or less identical unless viewed through a stereo microscope or some such thing...).
