morning all :o) we were so unfortunate the last day of our break as this air balloon was`nt flying because of the winds .june hates heights but i`d managed to persuade to to go up with us .the photo ops i believe would have been fantastic .not to worry ,next time :o).. this shot was taken in bournemouth park on the way from the town centre to the beach . thanks for looking and take care mick

That's the ONLY pov of a hot air balloon I will ever see. I don't think you could ever get me up in one of those things! LOL. This is a great shot, with that garden in front of the balloon. Sorry you missed your flight...

I'll come up with you next time you come down, I've not done it yet! It was up last Saturday night at 10.30 when we came out of the theatre, I bet that's worth a go! This is a super angle of it I've never noticed, great pic!

Good shot of the balloon nonetheless Mick, pity the winds were too unpredictable. I was lucky enough to have the experience of a lifetime in a balloon across the Nile when I went to Egypt 5 years ago. I didn't have a digital camera then and only took a handful of pics. I'm pretty much a coward with most things but funnily enough I just loved every second of that and would certainly love to do it again!

It looks securely tethered Mick, something I have never done either, I don't think I could climb inside the basket now. This one looks like it would be disabled friendly though and should have a ramp for entering. A pity about the weather I'm sure once June got of the ground she would be OK. I think the worry for me would can I get near the side for some pictures, I want to be on the side with land for pictures not just the sea. Lol. Fantastic capture, even showed Andrea a pov for shooting from. Bravo!!!!!

Oh, this looks like such a wonderful time! I've wanted to go up in one for ages. I'm terrified of heights but facing fear and feeling the rush is oen of those things I live for. Not that this is all that dangerous but just being in one is stellar! Great shot! I hope you can take that ride some time and tell me all about it.
