Description
This is part of the castle that certainly looks like a little precarious in its current state. I am sure it has been like this for centuries and not got worse however, a bit scary standing next to it.
As you can see the weather was not kind for photography. Full view shows some interesting bits.

It breaks the romantisism a bit when you learn that it's in that state because it was poorly built, rather than being caused in conflict, lol. Lovely shot though.

oh wow it would be wonderful to see this! wow I would love to be there exploring at night....would be a great place to take pictures to use as backgrounds for fantasy renders. any chance of more pictures?

Great picture. I am just looking through your gallery and enjoying it all. There's a big castle in Heidelberg, Germany that has a tower something like this. During the Hundred Years War, a tunnel was dug under the tower during a seige, black powder was stuffed in the hole and a great blast fractured the tower wall that was at least 15 feet thick...similar to this. Like all of your photos...animals and landscapes are my favorites.
