Description

It was one year ago today that I first joined Renderosity, on the suggestion of a good friend. Little did I know what it would do for me, that it would open a world I didn't know existed. I've learned so much, seen more stunning art, and met more people than I ever thought possible. This has been a year full of surprise, challenge, adventure, but most of all, a year of wonder. I've been places I never thought I'd see, met people I never dreamed of meeting. So, there's that road, and I intend to travel it any and every way I can. Thanks to all of you for making it so. Now~~this rose~~from my garden, but for some very odd reason this is what came to mind~~sing along, sway in the breeze and love the day!!! GIRL FROM IPANEMA (Vinicius DeMoraes / Norman Gimbel / Tom Jobim) Tall and tanned and young and lovely the girl from Ipanema goes walking and when she passes each man she passes goes Aaah! When she moves it's like a samba that swings so cool and sways so gently that when she passes each man she passes goes Aaah! Oh - but he watches so sadly How - can he tell her he loves her He - would just give his heart gladly But each day when she walks to the sea She looks straight ahead not at he Tall and tanned and young and lovely the girl from Ipanema goes walking and when she passes he smiles but she doesn't see no she doesn't see she just doesn't see...

A superb choice of flower to upload for your first Birthday Marilyn, I hope you travel many more roads to places you never dreamed of and make many more friends. I know it has turned my world around somewhat, if not for render I would most probably gone insane a lot later than I have. I'm hooked on it. Lol. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! I was singing along to it by the way. Lol.

A year is it now? Congratulations! Glory be, it seems just like yesterday..... And, as one who takes an occasional macro of a rose, I must say the multicolored image above is soft and radiant in its sublime beauty. Now, Marilyn, where in heaven's name did you get the words to one of my favorite songs? Is it on the Internet somewhere? If so, I would like to know the source so I can check out the words of other songs.
