Description

OK - not a very original title I know. I'm not wearing my creative hat tonight!!! lol... I have no idea what bird this is - I guess some species of duck. Danny or anyone else, I would be grateful if you could identify it!! I shot the image of this rather handsome fellow at the birdpark close to my house. Interesting bird and you've captured it perfectly. I like the presentation too. I've never seen an orange-colored duck (or goose ?) before.

Seems to me this duck may already have been marinaded in orange sauce - hence the color... In any case, you have completed a fine shot if it. Excellent postwork as well.

Be kind to your web-footed friends, for a duck may be somebody's mother. Superlative clarity and color blends in this marvelous composition, Carin! In reading about Zimbabwe today, I found that the average life expectancy in the country in only 36-years. And the author fervently wants Robert Mugabwe to be ousted for the nation to be productive and free of corruption and chaos.
