Description

Hi all. Sorry for my long absence.... been working crazy hours. Hope you enjoy this one. It is an Eastern Kingbird Guarding it's young. I took it while floating down the Betsie River. The nest was located in the middle of the river on a protruding tree trunk.

oh my gosh! you are back! my good friend! I was so wondering if I'd see you and your great bird shots again...and look at this gorgeous shot! Your absence has only given you time to become even better - and I didn't know that was possible. You are indeed the king of the songbirds! Stellar work and glad to see you again!

Greetings, Welcome back. One could not ask for a better image. It certainly was captured at the right moment as the mothers wing spread certainly has added to the beauty of this photograph. Thank you for sharing. egmont
