Description
Many of us have heard the phrase 'The Ties That Bind Us.' What an interesting thought for us to have. We could ponder this for quite some time and never lose interest. What could this mean? There are so many possibilities to be sure. Are the ties the relationships that we have with our families? Are the ties the relationships that we have with our friends? Are the ties the relationship that we have with our co-workers and our jobs? The possibilities of are endless. I would like to think that it means that we are all a part of a greater whole. That within each of us there is that certain something that links us to one another. Recently I saw a video that spoke about the quantum level of particles. Now I don't really understand it all, but the video did give me some ideas for processing in my mental computer. At the most basic level there is a possibility that we are all linked in some fashion. Now that is interesting. However, at the metaphysical level we are all a part of that One Great Cause. How we perceive this unity is up to us, but I would like to think that somewhere in the far reaches of the universe there is a nesting place for our Oneness. I imagine that in this special place small particles of our Oneness gather and nest for periods of time. Slowly and surely they will begin to co-mingle and soon we will not be able to tell them apart from one another. Dreams are wonderful because they allow us to experiment with new ideas and possible outcomes. So could it be that the ties that bind us are metaphysical? Perhaps they are. And perhaps this is our opportunity to take those silken ribbons of faith and lace them together. After all, we just mind find that we will expand our souls because we dared to venture into a new way of thinking. The ties that bind us are silken and soft and flow about us ever so loosely. Perhaps one day we will be able to see them. Now that would be a wonderful adventure to have. How divine. How simply divine.
Our thought for the day is: I am only one, but I am the one. Within me is the seed of my greatness and I plant that seed so that all of the world may see it. Gayle O
May your dreams bring you laughter and delight and may that laughter and delight always make your heart sing.

This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. Some of the variations used in this flame are the linear 3D, hemisphere, spherical, cylinder, scry, and blur variations. Post work was done in PSP.
Thank you for stopping by to view my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. Your visits to my gallery mean a lot to me and make my world a little brighter.
I wish you raindrops and roses to scatter on your path of life. I wish you stardust to light your moonless nights. But most of all I wish you love. A love for life that is so grand that it will make your heart sing. Namaste.

This is incredibly beautiful, both the flame and your wonderful writing. I have always thought that love was the tie that binds us all, whether it is love for our friends, family or for our fellow man, it is the one thing that can bring us together. I see it here at Renderosity. The diversity of artist here is amazing. We come from all over the world, from all walks of life, from all spiritual beliefs and different origins and yet I have yet to find animosity here. I think that is so wonderful and amazing! Lea

Great titling and the image is--as always--gripping, as is the artist's side of the story; that is to say, what the artist sees in her creation and what it makes her think of. Thanks for sharing!!!
