Description

Our week is once more at an end. All of our experiences from this week are now memories. We cannot live in our memories. We can only live in the NOW (no other when). Each day we co-create our lives anew by bringing our dreams into form... we are continuously creating new futures for us to experience because of the choices that we make each day. Our past is but a memory. Our future is a mystery waiting to unfold before us. It comes to us based upon our dreams, desires, and beliefs. For a long time I wondered about the phrase: 'we must die to the past to be born into the future.' Now what in the heck should that mean to us? What I have discovered is that we must release all of those old beliefs and thoughts that no longer serve us. We must let go of that old stuff that we created oh so long ago and hid in the recesses of our mind. For these thoughts... these old beliefs... are not the truth of who we are. Today we can allow ourselves to move beyond that old way of thinking... that old way of accepting an untruth of our being. Today we can give ourselves permission to release and let go of all that is no longer the truth of our being and all that no longer serves our highest good. We do not have to try to analyze what has happened in our past. We do not even have to be consciously aware of that old stuff that is cluttering our creative mental space. All we have to do is to be willing to replace those old thoughts and beliefs with new thoughts and beliefs. We just unthink them and replace them with the Universal Truths of who we are now. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are perfect... we are whole... we are complete... we can never be diminished... we are always enough. No matter what the appearances in our lives, we are enough... we are complete. So let us open ourselves to those new and true thoughts. When we do, we will never want to go back because we will have expanded our souls and be forever changed because of it. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: 'Wisdom is not in words. Wisdom is meaning within words.' Quote by Khalil Gibran Your dreams and desires can take form in your experience. Just believe that it will happen and then... when you least expect it... and from the most unexpected avenues, channels, ways, and means... they shall appear in your life experience. It is not a matter of "if"... it is always a matter of when. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. Beautiful work, as always. I especially like the transparency...kind of seeing the 'meaning within the words' as per the K. Gibran quote.

Lovely work of art, really beautiful and delicate design with such pretty soft colors. You pen an eloquent statement which shows some thinking . . . it seems as if you are saying all is relative (no absolute truth)?

It's not always easy to forget the past, especially when the past is very painful ... and look to the future with hope is even more difficult! Thanks, however, for your beautiful thoughts and for wonderful image! A happy weekend! :)
