Description
In the old days the landing signal officer (LSO) actually used paddles to help the Pilot aboard, hence the knickname "Paddles". I don't know if they ever allowed a dead stick as you would have to be extroidinarily lucky to have the altitude and talent to pull it off.
F-4U Corsair model by ANDERS LEJCZAK whom I just discovered last night, they are the best Aviation models I have seen to this point.
