I've been doing CG since "Bryce 3D" first came out - I guess that's at least a dozen years ago. I stopped for awhile because my desk job consumed my every waking moment. During that time I lost my software and could no longer find Bryce on-line. I played with Terragen in the meantime, but it just wasn't the same.  I finally got Version 6 and have been catching up on all the new features.

Excellent...I believe he would have liked it. Sorry about the loss, been there, know difficulties in a way. Thank you for the touching image, now that I know for whom it is given.

That's a beautiful image. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Just try to remember his love and his lessons and a part of him will always be with you.

I think your Dad has this taped to the instrument panel. And whenever his gaze passes over it he is reminded of a loving son and he smiles. To a flyboy there ain`t nothin like being up in the air. take care brother,

Stick it on your refrigerator. Your dad will see it and know what it means to you.

I second that what Bryster said. He will see it, and you will feel good that it's there. What a beautiful thing you did here. Bless you and your family.

Wonderful Tribute.

Amen to all the above. It took me 27 years after my Dad passed to write the song that said what I couldn't for so long....but it felt good to say it and I'm sure this beautiful render will, over time, give you the same comfort.. ...

As a prior service member myself I know your dad would be happy with this post...nothing could be more touching then the thought of your own ability to see an image ,make it ,and then tribute it to a loved one ..My mom always told me when I made things for her,it meant so much more then bought items because it was more personal..Sorry to hear about your loss but your dad will remember this forever.

Beautiful job! My condolences on the death of your father. I am sure he loves the picture and he probably drops by daily to look at it.
