My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... ÂÂ
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. ÂÂ
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. You'll soson get used to the digital Nikon, Keith. I have one too but was using Nikon 35mm SLRs for years a swell. Finally succumbed! Good shot (yes a bit clipped at the bottom- agreed) But powerful colours nonetheless and a moment in time captured. And thanks for the description! Dave

Nice capture Keith, looks like it would be quite a display!I like the fact you've off-centred the flowers, and the clipping at the bottom lets the image lead your eye out of the scene.Too many images are perfectly centred and composed, and while that may be good for a field guide,it doesn't provide much long-term interest and tension in the scene. The Oriental painting style, where branches or blossoms are off-centred or cropped is a much more visually pleasing approach, and this image echoes this...well done!

Well, at least it looks good Keith - better than the normal brand of terrorist. Better that our Bind weed variety too, that tries to strangle the whole world.

THANKS much to everyone who has viewed and commented so far on my photo capture. One important thing I forgot to mention about this plant is when handling the flowers, one can develop a nasty rash...so if you obtain one of these make sure you wear some sort of gloves. Seems not to have ever bothered me like that...then again, I've never been bothered by poison ivy, oak or sumac. Perhaps I'm just fortunate...lol

Beautiful flowers, and a nice shot! I really don't think I'd mind it if we had such beauty running through our yard over here, lol! Nice!

Super shot, Keith. Why do people think good-looking terrorists are less menacing? Enjoy your new camera!
Optiramma
For me, you really captured this's beauty's dangerous side...something about it says "Look but don't touch." Like all the girls in high school used to say to me. Have a blast with your new mechanical eye!

A fantastic capture, Keith! These vines do go crazy, but are just beautiful when in full bloom.

Better late (replying) than never. I'm so glad I saved yours, this image is awesome! A fav for sure! Way better than my pic of a trumpet vine. Oh, and BTW I AM SO JEALOUS (!)of your new camera. Just to let you know, I'm on some pretty sturdy meds, so forgive any mistakes I might make. Sure wish this damn thing had spell check! Thanks!
