BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

Another cool shot Lynn. My dogs do not let to many birds in the yard so I only get them on the fence taunting the dogs LOL

You birds fotografie is fantastic.

Glad you are enjoying the new. This bird seems to be such a well blended set of colors that I cannot get a crisp capture. They are one of the easiest birds to call close, using your cupped closed hands and sending a forceful breath of air past your thumbs into them, whilst opening one set of your fold of fingers like an instrument to mimic the cooing. Another easy one to whistle and call is the tit mouse, also the jay responds well to short bursts of a high to low pitch whistle. The dove will sit tight if alone. The best photo I have of them is on a window sill nest on the barn. Keep a watch and a log and you will be amazed how many different birds visit your feeder. Well done, have fun

Strikingly well matched with the ground colors!

Nice one, Lynn. We get doves on our chimney tops in the morning sometimes. I hate it when it when all this cooing comes down the chimney (especially if I've only just gone to bed). It acts like a loud speaker. We use to have a nest of Jackdaws up there - they kept the doves away, but they seemed to have moved across into the cliffs and crags on the other side of the river.
