I believe that an image should conduct a dialogue with the viewer. The more words necessary to explain the image, the weaker the messsage.
I make no claim to artistic skill. I'm like a kid with a box of crayons; but I lack the purity.
Considering the agenda of either wing to be folly, I represent what was once the center, BEFORE certain media bloviators claimed the mainstream for themselves.
Of our OWN universe, we are always the center.

As an example, before the 'war' milk was $2.00 a gallon, now its $2.00 a quart..And I wonder how truck drivers I know will be able to continue delivering anything, especially cross country. What exactly are we 'winning'? Great job as always and the voice rocks on!!!

so this is what they mean by drilling in unexplored areas...ouch...;) likes it.

amen!

Drill everywhere we can, use the money for other sources of energy...then let OPEC take it in the shorts. I buy gas at BP, rather than U.S. big oil, Chavez, or the assholes who are trying to kill us. Better the Brits have the bucks than these other pricks. Very cool image!!!
intro
@ Wesley Thomas Sorta... If these guys wanna drill, I say let 'em drill on the 5,000,000,acres of oil leases they already have. But they won't: Because they are not about supply. Supply lowers price. They are about more leases. Which they will continue not to drill. If they wanted SUPPLY, they'd build REFINERIES! Give them all the oil you want!! If they can't (or won't) refine it...it's just useless sludge. My attitude? Build our own federal refineries, revoke all unused leases, and drill in the name of the U.S. people. Screw 'em all! American oil, from American soil, staying in the hands of wholly-owned American companies. What a concept!!! Oil that might actually be worth spilling American blood over!!! Well...I won't go that far... But The oil companies sure don't PAY us to guard their oil...They like passing those costs on to the taxpayer as well. Conservative Economics 101: Socialize risk and cost...PRIVATIZE profits!

NASA has solar batteries and collectors that can operate in the deep cold of space, powering space stations and sattleites..... maybe if they shared the technologies with the rest of us... solar powered vehicles... not great at night but they could power batteries.... sorry ...pipe dreams.... a government agency sharing technologies? what the hell was I thinking?

@1358 Pass that pipe down here!!!

Thanks for your comments.I see some very American ideals in your art but these last couple have a global relavance that I must applaude. As for your Elections, it costs Millions of $'s to get elected and the people with the money aren't going to give it to a young guy......he might waste it on fun things. Love your work, keep it coming.

I'd LOVE to see the "alterna-fuel" morons unleash a mass amount of vehicles that use little to no oil...and then watch the world go into total economic chaos. Gas free or super efficient cars are a perfectly wonderful idea....but they really have to be released slowly or the economy of this world will shatter. And until my H2 can crush pedestrians with solar....i'll be buying that gas at any price ;) -chachi Ps- I totally love the dude in the lemon car..i get the reference and it's well played :) great work!
intro
@chachi Unfortunately..you are quite right. Fortunately the realist in all of us equips the economy with its own internal braking system. A kind of dish in which the tea cools. We can't all afford to just dump our gas hogs (they're all gas hogs). It will happen when it can. That will be both slow and fast enough. ps I wasn't sure anyone would recognize the lemon. Thanks!

Interesting commnets from you considering the gulf oil spill overseen by BP last year. And just why do these companies need 40 billion in subsidies every year? "If we don't give it to them and tax them then they will leave the U.S. and go overseas. It's a job killer!" I say, if you want to leave, leave! I'll pack you sandwiches but the oil leases stay HERE!
