Description

Something a little different. I was out front a while back inspecting my yard, when I noticed this phonepole with letters. It's amazing the things I've started noticing since I picked up the camera... lol. I've lived here just about 23 years and paid no attention to that pole :) When I scaled down this image (It was originally 1.3 mb)I lost a lot of the detail, so I tried a little post work to bring it back. What do you think? LOL... My husband just smiles at me. I finally thought of a title for yesterday's upload, "After The Petals Fall ...", that fit more appropriately with the series... "Great Balls of Fire". That's me, a day late and a dollar short... LOL. Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs, ~Melinda~

Great crop and the lighting was perfect for this shot. Wonderful shadows and textures. Begs the question 'why would this be an alphabet pole?'! Well done, Clive

ABC, Channel 7 TV, the American Broadcasting Company!!! I knew it all along! Stellar clarity, lighting effects and textures in this fine capture, Melinda! At least your husband smiles at you while you're doing your photo thing. Many spouses give their mates a bad time on this kind of stuff.

Amazing isn't it? I, too, found all the things I had overlooked for just as many years! Dont' 'cha love it? I'm glad you stopped and shot this pole; I like the black/whites/grays in it.
