Description

The beginning of the road, a sign said Keep Out! No Trespassing! Violators will be prosecuted! They will close the gates at 10 pm. So I left my truck there 4 am thinking they might close the gates. Hiding from cars as they were leaving, I hiked all the way in. The walk was long but you could see lightning like flashes of red as the lava exploded when it acts with the sea. When I got there, day light had already set in. Little did I know that they only closed the inside gates next to the viewing path and there was no security. Next time, I'll drive in!!!
