Description


On the return trip from the Monteverde Cloudforest. At an elevation of ~3,000-ft. this is the point where the road begins to descend to the Pacific Coastal Plain. In the distance can be seen the Golfo de Nicoya and the Peninsula Nicoya, part of Costa Rica's Pacific Coast. This picture was taken on 9 December 2004.
