Description

I thought I'd try my hand at creating a futuristic land vehicle this time around,since all my other models are flying ships...this is the result.Models are created from Bryce preset shapes,and both the vehicles and terrains are textured in photos from www.cgtextures.com(if you haven't checked this site out you should...lots of categories and images to choose from).Terrains are custom creations,sky is a preset and dust is a sphere rendered in dust volumetric.No postwork except signature.Thanks for viewing and your previous comments!

Splendid modeling on the vehicles. I like how they look so rugged, and yet they can blow you to kingdom come with their firepower. Cool terrain work too, and the dust being blown up is icing on the cake. Sweet render for sure!

Nice modeling and texturing. The depth of field effect you have with the terrain is also quite convincing, the foreground rocks in sharp focus as they are. Terrific work!!

Great Job Neil! I'm glad you decided to spice it up a bit! I love the model, looks awesome. Great textures and terrain! And noww..... onto your favorite part! :D Since these heavy duty machines are kicking up so much dust, I was thinking shouldn't they be leaving treads in the ground, or a little debris behind them? Thats about all I got... I think it would be great also if you turned the front wheels of the rover in the for-ground just to add interest. I just glanced up at it again, and I have to say, great model! I can tell a lot of time when into it. Keep up the great work! Jake
