Description
Captured 7/2/08, around 7:00 AM, about .35 miles/.563 kilometers from my decrepit dwelling.
Rarely any sneak factor in shooting cactus flowers. I'm on the sidewalk and they are usually behind a wall. Ergo, stretching and standing on tiptoes often involved.
Viewing full size will be to your definite advantage.
Thankx for popping in, and have a toe-tapping Tuesday.

Tehre was a century plant in the Seal Beach trailer park that bloomed while I was out there. I don't know what happened when the redevelopment was done. Your plant is filling in.

Great study of the stages of bloom -- cactus flowers are amazing, such beauty from such a prosaic plant!

Good stuff Harry. I always like to see flowers or plants in a changing and put together nicely as your. Fascinating job.
