Description

Wanted to capture the tail end of an action scene, with big Hollywood explosions and such. Been into fire scenes lately, must be a phase ;) Smoke brushes by Falln-Brushes. I want to thank everyone who gave us support in a recent fight against art theft. More information can by found here, it explains what many others from here and other sites, including myself have been doing to help protect your art. Link Again thank you to everyones support in this last couple of days, its is very much appreciated, especialy by the artists whos art was stolen. We are a community, and it's good to see us all sticking together. You guys are awesome, you know who you are ;)

This is a brilliant image - great stuff. I clicked on the link and had a good poke around. Quite frankly I'm shocked at what I found - so it's great to see the reaction of the community and hard work to protect our art.

Fantastic image! Powerful, potent and very pointed. Also, great information about the art theft. I'll be sure to check out the link provided as I've been a victim of it as well, As e-brink said, there's just no way to win. It's a pitty people have to resort to theft to make themselves feel better. I hope your conflict has has a resolution that helped you out rather than hurt. I hate to ask this as a feedback in art but can anyone suggest a "good" way to mark your art in an effort to protect it?

Another brilliant piece Frank! I love the atmosphere you have created here. Plus every little detail you have put in - detail is key to a good picture. Thanks for the 'heads up' about that site- I have seen some of my work reproduced here and there and get zilch replies when I mail, At least they could have the courtesy to ask! Great work! Both on this image and on the exposure of the art theft. We all know that art theft happens. But that the admins of a site will not only refuse to address the issue but then attack the complainant themselves beggars belief. Its incredible that they dare to use the word 'Integrity' in that shameful scrolling banner when they obviously have no conception of what the word means.

Awesome scene - excellent lighting and way cool pose. Nice effects - love the smoke coming from her gun. Thanks for sharing the info about art theft. I guess I'm rather a babe in the woods about this sort of thing. I would never dream of stealing someone's creation so it's just disturbing that others would do this. I've noticed others add watermarks and such and now I understand more about why this is done.

I think this plasma-gun wielding babe has rubbed out all the art thieves...(I hope !) and so they try yet again, I wish they would get a life ! As for the art site, well that really sucks ! Anyhow, nice work here, great lighting and perfect use of DOF ! ~Cheers~
