Description

Ok, this is actually a school assignment I did last year. Despite the numerous grammar mistakes I not only got the longest responses, but I also got 100% on it... Ok, here it is.. First....The question... 1.In the last section of Act I of Our Town, the Stage Manager discusses a time capsule that is being placed in the cornerstone of a local building. He mentions several items that are being placed inside the time capsule, including newspapers, the Bible, the Constitution, and the plays of Shakespeare. He also mentions that he wants to put a copy of Our Town in the time capsule, as well. If you were to bury a time capsule tomorrow for people to unearth in a thousand years, what items would you include? List at least three items and provide your reasons for their inclusion. Now....My response.... Answer: I would probably put in one of my favorite books; most likely 'The Summoner' by Gail Z. Martin. Great book...Back on subject. Ah, yes, I would put it in the time capsule for a few reasons. The first, to reminds people that books are things of time. Books continue to entertain us even with the level of technology we have today. Without books many of us, (I'm saying this while I'm thinking this up, so it is possibly it may not be true because it comes from my thought process which is a little chaotic, no really chaotic to put it nicely, but back to the page), would be lost. We read books for comfort, support, entertainment, help, or whatever needs come our way. If their were no books left there would probably still be computers. So type them up and send them out, right? Well not every one has computers so that may not be the best thing. Plus the fact that there are people who exist who have computers but only use them for business reasons, or important stuff. Not really to read a random email that may be listed under spam, and who knows, may even contain certain material not appropriate for those without parental guidance. I think that rules out, well I can't list the percentage, but a lot of people. Then there are the people who don't really care about the age limit, or who type nonsense into an assignment to try to entertain the readers, and maybe make them think that reading that paper is a brain-sucking, zombifiying process that continues to suck your IQ away from you every seconds. Could it be true? I'm not sure, but I'm going to get back to answering the questions. The second reason I would put that books in that time capsule would to remind people, or actually since a thousand years past, to enlighten people of my likes. I put the book in the capsule because I liked it and want others to become aware of it. While there are those people who would use reverse psychiatry here and state, the book was not liked and put in the capsule because the original owner of the book wants to bore or perhaps try to mentally damage the new reader of the century of that time (which of course would be a thousand years from now so that would be 3007). The next item I would put in the capsule would probably be one of my favorite Dvds. I don't know what Dvd it would be; perhaps Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If I did that then I could enlighten the people of the future of British humor, and the violence of tiny white bunnies who can rip people apart with its bare herbivorous teeth. A very fearsome creature which is blown apart by the holy hand grenade. Although it would be more likely that I would put Silent Hill, or one of the Final Fantasy movies in there. I don't know, but either way it would tell the people of the future that we enjoyed primitive technology and great stories. I don't think I'm going to go on about how Dvds can rot the brain, or more or less the eyeballs causing vision impairment, or in really serious cases blindness. Talk about brain sucking, if you go blind froma TV you got to have your face implanted to the screen, huh funny image, but back on topic. As I was saying I'm not going to go on about this stuff because I went on about the stuff when I was talking about the book, that if disappeared could cause additional brain rotting, zombifiying effects, but I already covered that (If you, the reader missed the brain-rotting, zombifying effects then you need to refer to some where up in the paragraph, just look back over the lines, eventually you'll find it). Once again with the Dvd in the capsule, the POF (I shortened people of the future to POF because I actually got tired of typing people of the future because some how to my fingers it becomes some what a repetitive task, and if I do it too much this task of writing this paper may become even more zombifiying. How do people get through life without becoming zombies?! I don't know, maybe its a human, perhaps POF knows why. Hmmm, maybe when asking POF questions I should refer to it as DR.POF, because the POF should be smart, a lot smarter then us. So the general population should be as smart as someone who has a doctorates degree, or even a NASA person, sounds like I'm talking about the people of Eureka. Aha! POF should be equivalent to the POE [people of Eureka] or better. [If you do not know what Eureka is you could watch the channel that it happens to be on TV, or use your computer and use google to find information concerning Eureka] ) may learn about my personality and learn that the people of today (2007) or maybe just me, are/is (if it is just me) a little bit psychotic and probably in need of a comatose drug to slow us/me (once again if it is just me) to match the rest of society in a actual understand conversation, otherwise it maybe virtually pointless because our/my brain is sooo chaotic we/I sometimes forget what we're/I'm doing or saying, and in consequence go on about a subject creating an entertaining brain-sucking/rotting (whatever your preference) and perhaps zombifiying effect on the reader who may in rare cases absorb some of the useless info used in this paper and spread it around creating other useless brainless people, or to put it in short, some people in America. Don't forget to include some politicians in this list of useless brainless people who roam about and pretty much mirror the actions of the zombies in Resident Evil or some movie, perhaps a little less violent, and dull though. Lithium pills added, ok, I think I can (maybe, also to let you know I am now referring to just myself unless I type or state [your preference] otherwise.) talk/type (once again your preference) normal. Ok so I think I'm normal now, or maybe not it really depends on your view of what is normal and what is not, but lets not get off the case/subject [your preference]. So the third item I would put in the time capsule would be one of my hairs. This may leave you guessing why, or may leave the thought in your head, Is this guy a nut? Well in the second case, I guess you could say I'm a nut, psycho, insane, or maybe the average teenager with a bit of a weird streak. To the first I shall inform yee (I put yee because if a leprechaun is reading this I don't want it to be offended, of course of the reader is Scottish or Irish you may take offense, I really don't mean it though. However, if you find yourself taking offense to anything I say in this document try to think of yourself as a leprechaun or a rat [the animal rat]. The reason I say this is because if you a leprechaun then you know that not everyone believes in you so that you may vamph out of existence at anytime you wish and reappear in a time before you read this document causing two things. The two things would be that you brain would still be in working order, and not dis functioned or damaged [note; more on this is on bottom of page, or end of document, the little caution label that says I'm not liable!]. The second is that you (keep in mind the reader is still think him/herself a leprechaun) would not by chance be insulted by any words in this document. Now, I said a rat because rats are vermin (or so many people think so). This is not insulting! You just don't understand my logic yet, so read on. Please. Think of yourself as a rat, because when it comes down to it rats are cool. They are cute, cuddly, and don't understand why many think the opposite of them. Like a mistreated child, 'Why doesn't anybody like me? They don't have understanding of why we (when I say we I'm not including myself, well not mostly) don't like rats. They are dirty, lusty, scruffy, little guys (well in some cases their bigger than house cats! Talk about a rodent on crack, Ha!) that like to infest. Therefore, if the reader thinks him/herself a rat then they cannot be insulted! Also you cannot be brain damaged because rat brains are small, and I think they would be entertained and not brain-sucked by this document. (Note; the sentences concerning leprechauns and rats are not necessarily true, and are solely only the views [which are subject to change are any moment] of the author of this document.)) Now to answer your first question of the third subject which you may of forgot. Why am I placing one of my hairs in the time capsule? I'm plucking a hair from my scalp and putting it in the capsule because in a thousand years our society should be sophisticated and in high technology, therefore they can clone effortlessly with those side consequences that occur in todays cloning, such as possible death, mutation, and all other stuff thats good to settle your stomach right before you eat charred liver left to sat in rotting onions over night. Basically they would take the hair, revive the dead cells, and use it to once again create me. I could then see the POF who are equally smart or smarter than those of POE and see just what is buzzing around civilization. In doing so there is a small chance that I may get squashed my first step out the door by a giant beetle like alien or I may ignite the fall of the 31st century, who knows? Or maybe I'll be grown, get out, and blend into society, and like it. Or maybe the POF are aliens and so different, they grow me to cook me in their alien substances they use for cooking, and have a nice meal. I don't know, my creative thinking is running rampant, there are too many possibilities. I would throw one more thing into the capsule, and that would be the answer to the original question What would you put in the time capsule that way the POF would know that the POP (people of the past [thats us if your wondering]) are nuts, or maybe that I'm just a nut, either way I know I've left my mark.

I love your style! It IS a bit difficult to read (from a physical reading POV, not from a brain-zomble POV), but totally worth the trouble. Paragraphs would only disrupt the flow.

It was a little difficult to keep my place while reading, although, I did not struggle much. I enjoyed it and agree the grade well deserved. I do not think this is unusual/weird, yet, disordered, and or confused/chaotic, yes, normal human thought, as the flow in which it comes, written as it occurs. Excellent demonstration and thank you for sharing.
