Description

Hello rendo friends, how are we all doing this fine day? I myself am feeling a little chatty so brace yourselves...(!) If you've visited my gallery before in the past month or two you'll probably have noticed quite a number of sunrise/beach pics... well, since the end of semester my sleeping hours have been spiralling out of control meaning I've become a bit nocturnal but with the earlier sunrises that's no bad thing for someone wide awake when they should be sleeping, looking for something to do..hence the number of sunrise shots lately! But I've decided enough is enough and am powering through two days without sleep in the hope I'm knackered enough to crash at a reasonable hour tonight... but anyway Adam, get to the point - yes, so anyway I've still got plenty of decent beach/sunrise shots I may post but as of today I'm making a pact with myself and with you to only post such shots at the most every third upload... the idea is to keep things fresh and also to challenge myself to break out of my 'comfort zone' and get a bit more creative with my camera now that it feels like a comfortable extension of my eye/arm.... ..which I guess brings me to today's shot, which is fresh from the camera this morning when I took a 3 hour wander about town around dawn.... pink sunrise followed not long after by mists rolling in engulfing the scenery - as a photographer I couldn't really have asked for more =) Something a bit different on this one I guess, but it was one of the first to scream 'edit me' from the 400 or so shots from this morning (been a busy week - taken well over 2000 shots.. now for the 'joy' of sifting through them all!) Anyway, enough of my waffle - hope you enjoy the pic and have a great day wherever you are/whatever ye be up to. Adam ... and to those who care to know these kinds of things, it's a hdr shot from 3 exposures (-2,0,+2)

And yet another super sunrise with some interesting lines. I realy like a compo leads my eyes to the canons what is kind of "hiden".

Well you have a number of things spicing up a good composition. Lines, shapes and great clouds for a background. I am also mad about sunset but I have discovered uploading them all in a row can really take away from the impact. Good advice.
