Weather here is warm and sunny and I have been away all day :-( But finally my mom got rid of the heavy plaster on her arm. :-)

this almost has the quality of a color etching, or certainly a painting with very fine brushes (or a fine color drawing). You've brought out the grainy texture of the weed so that the central shaft looks like its granulating before our very eyes. You see a piece of plant-life, you see a whole universe. This proves why Native Americans find weeds to be as alive as anything on earth. These few little shafts are bursting with life. Vivid, living work.
