Description

Poor little columbine, dwarfed by huge (what I have been told are) corn stalk plants. Googled the plant name but no proof of what our guide in Colorado called them. Never the less, it made for interesting composition.

beautiful, yet a shame, I hear ya. have a columbine near my front door; it was doing beautifully one day, and the next thing I know, its trampled. :( At least your Columbine seems ok :)

Although they don't look like the cornstalk plant I know of or have grown, it could be a location thing that makes them look different. In any case, this is a jaw-dropping shot!
