Description

This portrait of Isaac Jacobson, a character of my comic project, then adult, inked with a Rapidograph and a special fountain paint brush, was vectorized under Adobe Streamline and colored under Adobe Illustrator 8. I drew it in 2000 to illustrate a photography handbook published by Larousse. Today I would ink it with e-Frontier’s Manga Studio EX, as shown here:

I have opened a site (today in version 1.5) to present my comic project. It is here:

"Silvia (the adventures of Silvia Robin)"

This is not a public site: I have done it for the fun of friends. But more important is to help me to improve the project, therefore every comment will be welcome. The site is entirely bi-lingual (french/english), except for the balloons which are only in french. The access to comic pages needs, as said in my earlier posts, a secret code. But without code, there are 52 drawings in 3 galleries to enjoy! The tipule is a kind of giant mosquito, but in spite of its big size it is completely inoffensive.

Yes yes, this is just awesome. I like very much his face. Darn pro done. When I got better time, il go in and anjoy all your comics. Right now, so many things happen here, that I need another 24 hours a day and the extra hours would be very nice with lower temperatures :) LOL !

Qui est Isaac Jacobson ? Peu importe ce portrait en ligne claire est superbe. La ligne claire reste pratiquement, pour moi, le seul mode graphique d'une bonne BD. Bravo pour ton dessin. je n'ai pas suivi la saga (mot originaire d'Islande) de Silvia en raison de vacances trop chargées ... ce qui est paradoxal. J'espère à la rentrée pouvoir raconter, par photos interposées, notre merveilleux voyage en 4x4 dans l'intérieur de l' Islande (le pays des trolls et des sagas).
