Description
He is guarding her and let her eat (or drink, they just live on oak juice for this short time). No sex for the moment. Strong sexual dimorphism. Thereafter, the mail shall live for a few more days only. The female lays the frutified eggs into the soil near the tree. She will live not much longer than the male. So the period they are able to fly (which must be nice) is rather short.
