Description

Hello All!!! Here is one of my photo arts / smudge painting - lots of hand painting with a mouse and smudging over a pic i took last week of my daughter Janel and new cocker Moby ( done in paint shop) . Haven't done this type of photo art works in a while so played with this this weekend as I have had a few requests for this style lately. Sometimes Moby gets sad when Candi( our other cocker spaniel) growls at him to put him in his place but Janel ( or Nellie as we call her) is always there to give reassuring hugs and love to make him feel better. I have lots up in my gallery of Janel and Candi but not one of her and Mo so thought this pic was cute of them . Didn't like the quality of the picture as it was takin' in low light so tried to draw it out with my post work .. spent a long time playing with this one so figured i better put it up before I over do it ... I know there are allot of purist photographers that are not into this sort of thing but i am a painter and photographer so now and then like to blend the two mediums ...hehe and hey its just so much fun to play !!! What a marvelous work! The eyes just go right through you. You've got me itching to do smudge painting. Have you done any tutorials? It helps that you've got two beautiful subjects to pose for you.
