Description

While camping along the Gregory River for the week, this is what we woke up to every morning. The kangaroos would come down to the river for their morning drink, disappear for the day then come back in the afternoon again.

Wow! This is a treat. This water hole is beautiful and with that added bonus of a kangaroo drinking water. I've seen pictures of kangaroo's before but never drinking water. The tree's are all bending to the right, it must be windy at times? Excellent shot and a beautiful capture.

This is superb! I do not say that often at all. You had the serindipitiy of the location and the roo...and the eye to take a fine photo and present well in this render. This image almost is surreal..I mean, it almost looks like someone in one of the pure digital programs made the image...the trees, all come together to my eyes as so foreign and lovely it does almost look surreal. Quite well done.

Wouldn't it be a feast to watch them come and go! I am envious. Very pleasant symmetry in the composition.

I bet this was one of those moments when the breath just left you at the sight. I know that's the way your capture hits me.

A fantastic scene Sue, I don't know about you but my heart would have been pounding, my legs shaking so much it would have been hard pressing the shutter. The scene itself is awesome, an oasis in the outback, those trees are screaming for water by the look of it, and it is so close to them. The 'Roo' is just the icing on the cake, or is it the cherry on top. I see all kinds of things in this image spectacular image Sue, take away the 'Roo' and the golden light, add a bit of mist and you have one scary background. I'm sure the scary/horror community would love this for a backdrop. To pinch PJ's words, stellar! Bravo!!!!!
