Well you can't keep me away from the beach forever now ;) First beach sunrise pic in a while, bet you've all been glad of the break hehe
Just had to post this one though, as I quite like it =) It was taken this morning down on the beach, where I managed to get as wet and covered in sand as usual, but it's always worth it if something decent results from it... in fact it's worth it even if nothing decent results as it's a good excuse to pretend I'm a little boy again rolling about getting as filthy as humanly possible. It's what summers are for!
On the left you can see the end of the pier which was the subject of yesterday's post. And yes I 'cheated' and put the rock there - didn't move it far though so it doesn't really count ;)
I was shooting this with a contest in mind - the briefing is 'morning'... you think this might fit the bill?

The rock and sand ripples are excellent to draw interest. The light is good and its long reflection is a nice way to draw the eye from sand to water.

it is extremely good, clean and natural, except for the "rock" which looks suspiciously like a broken brick to me. i think if you were to try cropping it out that would enhance the picture ?
