Description
I was standing on the bridge at Deception Pass (Whidbey Island, Washington) and looked across to this view. It gives you and idea of how huge Puget Sound really is; I had no idea till I saw it; it goes on forever and ever!! And this is just one small part of it.
The link shows you the bridge as I looked back at it--I was standing on the left about, not too far from the other end. It was VERY windy, and every time a car went by,the bridge kinda shuddered. I didn't stay there too long!!

You achieved great depth with this shot Marilyn, from this view I would love to explore Puget Sound in a boat. Sailing round the coast line taking lots of phot's of the fore shore of course. Excellent capture, wonderful scenic view. Bravo!!!!!

Beautiful and breathtaking vista you have captured. Your narrative regarding the bridge shuddering is reminiscent of the "galloping Gerty" collapse decades ago near Tacoma...again, from the wind and poor design.
