I watched this machine evolve as the AC Bristol wih engine derived from the pre-war BMW 328. It had all independent suspension and an aluminum body. Then it got disk brakes. The stage was set and teh new thinwall Ford V-8 was adapted by Carroll shelby with a thorough going over of the rest to create the 289 Cobra. I began my 3 D car modelling to see what I could do for my son who wanted a 428 Cobra. I had missed a lot after the 427 Cobra and wondered why ther was no 429 Cobra using the more open Cleveland style head similar to the 351. So I just made him a text description with a taxonomy and carpet plot of horsepower and toque and matches in four gears. He was working with game designers who were creating cars that could be upped with parts to create new levels. This certainly expresses a lifestlye that hung out in the Shelby factory by LAX.

I like the Cobra - a cracking car with real character and history. I also love sunsets. So this image rocks! :)
