Description

This old man have a diff way of playing his harmonica than what the young lady style of playing is. Both sounds good and this man is good at it too. He do not bring his other hand up in front of the harmonica and move his hands around. He just put the hand you see as is and he plays it like that. I know nothing of playing the harmonica or any thing. I can not even sing alone with a song . I know no songs. I did learn the words to one time for this man say I can not learn one. I learned "Taps" and the words to "Taps". He did not even know "Taps" had words. I forgot them by now for that was over 14 years ago. thanks for looking and comments Oh I put on the 500MM mirrow lens on the camera. It have a f8 stop on it. I did use the flashhead on. I learning about it. I did try to piont the flash at the ceiling but the ceiling is 10 feet up and this man hand is in dark shadows. I got many settings on the flash I playing with.

jocko....this is a superb capture. the subject, pov. the texture of the mans hand. My grandfather used to play the "mouth harp" my oldest son has inherited it but doesn't play. I adore the angle you took this at. You see, this says so much, its not just playing the harp but its the feeling, its what you hear, what you see.. and you've captured all these things in one photo. This is one I would definitely hang on my wall. Actually I would have one in B&W also. Just to show contrasting images. What a truly wonderful pic!!
