Hello ! In our vacation I saw only very few poppies and I was a little disappointed, because we left our Island In the beginning of the poppy season and we use to have SO many of them and I love them so much, but I found this little one in a garden, so I was sneaking me into the garden to get it, TARA!!! LOL! Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Have a splendid day with the weather you prefare. If that was possible :) Here it is about 23 c and a little cloudy. I like that :)

So often poppies tend to be all about the centers framed in flat, floppy petals but here you have brought us a poppy all about petals. Gorgeous shot.

helle, it's amazing what a different look you got with this shot. You've captured almost a silk feel, like the petals were made of a shiny fabric. I've never seen a poppy look like this. It has shine, and burst, and very saturated reds. It's quite powerful. You've also captured the stalks going on a diagonal, which gives nice music to the whole. A most unusual poppy. Very fine as always helle, you're always showing us new & vibrant sides of nature.
