Description
As Humanity's First Interstellar War was winding down, newer escorts and warships were entering service. These had the luxury of being designed with the lessons of earlier engagements in mind, and were closer to a true purpose-built warship. Raiders were unable to operate with the impunity of the early days, and the firepower that was brought to bear only made the combatants realize the potential damage that could be done with the tools at hand...

This was envisioned almost as a propaganda poster, but also as something fun to make and render.
The ship was done in Bryce 6.1, background, compositing, and effects were all done in postwork with Photoshop CS 3.

Sweet render and space scene, the modeling work is awesome. Well worth the full size view, you can really appreciate the ships design and texture. I really liked the grittieness of the ships texture. Awesome Bryce render for sure!!

Was combat a long distance affair or did one have to get in up close for accuracy? Love the weapons spread. She looks like she is might be running, but not making it easy to follow!

Very cool ship with super detail on the metal skin, lasers and nebula are also super...but, please don't take this wrong as I hate to be too critical...the white stars are all the same size and brightness. There should be some variation in size, brightness and even color...then it would be most excellent...as is...very nice concept...keep on man...I love your work!
