Description

This was shot from the ledge I mentioned in yesterday's upload. You can just see the boulder that's stuck between the walls; the flat area of the water is under the bridge from which I took yesterday's shot. As I was climbing back up from this ledge, the lens hood that I had taken off to be able to reach my polarizing filter fell out of my pocket, and I watched it bounce once, twice, three times, then stop right on the edge of the ledge. So I used my tripod legs like chopsticks and carefully picked it up without having to climb back down. Whew! The sacrifices I make for you guys! LOL

LOL I'm happy to hear you retrieved your lens hood ... I was expecting you to say it traveled down away in the water ... Thank you for your many sacrifices lol ... Another gorgeous shot ... I love the smooth look of the water and the rough texture of the rocks ... Just beautiful as always ... Keep them coming!

You have grace and luck on your side. Not only retrieved the lens hood as you did but in getting this awesome shot. It really feels cool and moist here... and the plant life is amazing.

And I am sure we all appreciate your sacrifices very much. What a wonderful shot. And the person at the top appears ghostly. Nice effect.

Whew! I'm glad you were able to retrieve your equipment, and I'm impressed with your ability to use a tripod like chopsticks! When you can no longer bend over to pick things up, you won't need one of those grabber things. :) Did I mention that I like the photograph?
