Wonderful image!!! :)

there is a bird on the middle towards the right of the photo by the cypress tree. the lens is a old one and it is a 70mm to 250mm zoom lens. The camera will not say what the f stop is or focus zoom is. The f stop is around 8 to 10

Masterly shot, Jock. It is very lovely as you say. I always loved the light from sunsets. The colouring beats it all. And Richard is fantastic. The Texas Wide Open Skies is a great product for background in renders. Richard is a splendid photgrapher. But so are you. FOUND IT :) A stork or a heron of some sort.+5

That is a real Chicken Little sky. Fortunately you got some cypress trees to prop it up.

Simply awesome, Jock. Especially with those gorgeous cypress trees in silhouette.

Dang! How many times have I had to remind Richard to lock that trunk before he hits the highway! LOL This is a very well composed sunset and the color does speak of the changing winds. The crane is absolutely a treasure worth its weight in gold!

thanks for the dedication Jock and you got something I can not get from my house roof, water in the picture.at least I hope the water does not get that high.if it did I would not be on the roof!!!hopefully be on high ground.I luckily live in a 100 year flood plain and in the 25 years I have been here it has never flooded(knock on wood) your sky is awesome and definitely your best sky post.an excellent addition to your gallery
