Description

While I know this isn't the best capture;still it intrigues me. At first I didn't care for the background, but once I really looked at it I thought how incredibly appropriate. The bloom that is still thriving is reaching towards the light. The bloom that is withering is in the darker side of the shot. My girlfriend couldn't understand why on earth I would want to take a picture of a dead flower. Smiling I just told her. Even in death there is beauty. Not even in nature; no two are alike, and so not even in their death. Yeah yeah, I'm seriously philosophical but that is the way I've been feeling lately. Hope all is having a wonderful weekend Michelle

Very philosophical and this capture worth looking at a second time! Impressive contrast and hidden symbolism. I hope you are ok.

Striking Michelle! I find I too am philosophical when the subject is Death, especially when contrasted with the Beauty of life. Bravo!
