Description

Royal Armouries Museum (LEEDS, Yorkshire,UK). Taken July29 2008 The Hall of Steel is the architectural centrepiece of the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. This elegant steel and glass tower is unusual in that the double-glazed glass panels are fixed to an external stainless steel frame. This view is from the ground looking upwards the height of 5 floors! The Royal Armouries is Britain's oldest national museum, and one of the oldest museums in the world. PART of the collection is still on display in its original home in the White Tower at the Tower of London Thanks for looking...Alan

Oh Alan. Wow. That is just the coolest thing ever. What a beautiful photograph! I'm on the phone with Marilyn, yakking away, clicking on images, and I clicked this open. I stared and stared, and suddenly realized what I was looking at. Wow. This is absolutely incredible. Awesome work!
