Description

After viewing "Eyesore" by PD154 (Ronnie) inspired me to upload one of MY shots of the same building because I think it is great or at least fascinating! Taken August 11 2007. LONDON.

Like I said on Ronnies comment Alan, I wouldn't want it on my door step, but then we have the 'Black Box' don't we. It does make for an interesting photographic subject though, that I do admit. Your inclusion of the art display makes it a tad more interesting as well Alan. Those Geetars are something else, one of those alone would be a great subject as well. Excellent capture, great pov. Bravo!!!!!

I love stuff like this, there are plenty of big, tall boxes in the world; it's refreshing to see something so different! LOVE the guitars!!

Perhaps the building would be better used as a museum, it might be more forgivable in that context? And if there were huge sculptures or plantings somehow framing it? I like it with the colorful guitar display outside, but the shape of the thing still makes me feel it's off balance and unfinished. Your shot is excellent!

I like it, but I'm pretty much okay with architecture in general. I'm not wild about concrete block buildings, the ones that are thrown up for strictly utilitarian purposes, but any architect who gave some thought to what they were doing gets my vote! Nice capture!

I agree...fascinating. Can't say I find it beautiful...and the giant guitars are an interesting touch. What on earth were they thinking when they created this? I would love to know what their message was. :-)
