Doctor Hesperus herded his daughter into the brightly lit cabin, following the android girl that was called Bluebell. When they entered the room, silence filled the air as everyone turned to look at them. Sifreya asked in sarcastic tones, looking at the bed where a small green girl was bottle-feeding a blue one-eyed baby, "WHAT is THAT supposed to be?" Bluebell turned and snapped angrily,"My little sister, Sunshine! Speak respectfully, please. The Indigo male is Upsilon..." Upsilon exclaimed, "Call me 'Indigo!' " Bluebell growled at him,"Twerp! You've been Indigo in color for less than an HOUR! Mother hasn't green-lighted the name change, and we'd have to convene a consensus to ratify it! You're still Upsilon!" The human boy on the bed, next to the green girl exclaimed,"We can call him 'Bucket-head' or 'Robot-Butt'" The violet colored female of the same type as Upsilon exclaimed,"I second 'BUCKET-HEAD'!" She giggled loudly, while the boy laughed with her. Bluebell frowned and said, "The terrible two are twins, born of my mother, Capitan Rose. UPSILON and Violet." Upsilon blew bubbles in his nutrient drink with his straw and lounged insolently on the corner of the sofa. Bluebell indicated the human boy and continued,"He's Andromeda, Upsilon's new partner in crime and friend. The green girl is Lime, a Deva from the Flying City, same as you two." Bluebell glared around the room and said, "Alright you clowns! This is Sifreya and her father, Doctor Jason Hesperus. He is of the Sidhe race, which is very tall and pale. His daughter is half-breed with more typical human racial types. BE NICE!" Doctor Hesperus said to his daughter,"Stay here and make friends. I have to go and take care of patients." She just nodded and looked stressed out. Bluebell asked him,"Speaking of which...is there nothing else you can do for Jano?" He shook his white topped head and sighed,"This transport just isn't set up for human casualties! Once we dock with that freighter out there, we can use their supplies to heal him. I'll need to go over to supervise the transfer of supplies." Bluebell looked around and asked,"Where is Goldy?" The children looked guilty and Andromeda said,"We promised him not to tattle on him!" Bluebell exclaimed,"I'll STRANGLE the little worm!" She went over to the intercom and over-rode it's cutout protocols and said,"Attention all hands! We have a Cyclops child unsupervised in the corridors. His name is 'Goldy'. Goldy please return to your room immediately! That is all." Doctor Hesperus smiled and patted Bluebell on the shoulder and sighed, "Children will be children throughout the universe, it seems." Sifreya looked at Lime and asked with disgust in her voice,"Ewwwww, what is that metal crap you're feeding that baby...thing." Violet said with a sneer in her voice,"That 'crap' is nanotech nutrient solution and that baby 'thing' is a Cyclops INFANT! You are SO stupid. You Purple-Head!" "I'm ignorant, not stupid! You poorly programed robot girl!" Sifreya stamped a foot and glared at Violet. Violet balled her fists and said in a superior tone,"HA! I've been in HYPERSPACE! Where've you've been? We can load your purple-wearing butt into an escape-pod and shoot you into..." Bluebell shouted, "Violet! Go to bed in the upper bunk! Sifreya! Sit on the sofa, and look out the window or watch the screen and both of you--BE QUIET!" Dr. Hesperus laughed and left the cabin, glad HE wasn't in charge of THAT mess. --TO BE CONTINUED!--
